Garden Club Planting Day

Calling all Champion Dads!  Our Garden Club have 15 New Zealand native trees that need planting on Wednesday 8 June at 8.30am onwards.  If you have an hour or two to spare on this day Mrs Devanath and the Garden Club students will be very grateful for your help.  All you need is a spade!  Please email adevanath@mhp.school.nz or dwilcock@mhp.school.nz if you are available.

New app will help children understand dog behaviour

Safety around dogs was on the agenda as Mission Heights Primary School  tested out an educational app.

Trainer Janet Larsen and spaniel Cody, of the Auckland Council Animal Management team, attended class on April 14 as part of a dog safety education programme

Along with talks and demonstrations on how to greet a dog and what to do when you see an unattended dog, the students were treated to the launch of a new dog safety app.
