We have had another successful week of online learning and thank you all for your continued enthusiasm and dedication to our online learning. Please do remember, everything that we are sharing on Google Classroom is optional and you, the parent, can choose how much or how little your child completes. If you are unsure about the learning please contact your child’s teacher by email in the first instance. They are there to help you.

We welcome 7 new families to our school. The children will be joining their classes via Google Classroom and we look forward to welcoming them in person during Level 2.

Next week is a short week with Monday, 27th April observed as Anzac Day and Tuesday, 28th April being designated by the Government as a Teacher Only Day. Teachers will not be adding new material to their Google Classrooms on Tuesday; however, there should be more than enough there for students to complete. Remember, they can also access the MHP Google Classroom and the Education TV Channel if they would like to try something different.

We have a small number of students returning to school under L3 on Wednesday, 29th April. Only students  who don’t have someone at home to look after them can return to school at L3. You must give us 48 hours notice first to make sure we have enough teachers to look after them. Please contact jkeber@mhp.school.nz if your situation changes and you need your child to come to school.

We want to thank you all for remembering the message from our government:

‘Stay Home, Stay Safe, Save Lives’ by keeping your children at home and reducing the risk for everybody.
