MSO INSPIRE is collaborating with the Due Drop Events Centre to bring entertaining concerts to school children from 7 – 11 years old across South Auckland.

The orchestra will play popular and fun tunes alongside narrated stories with music. A special feature will be an arrangement of ‘The Emperor and the Nightingale’ by iconic NZ children’s composer Jenny McLeod’s. This musical fairy tale will be narrated by New Zealand’s most beloved children’s presenter Suzy Cato.

Students travel by bus to the concert on the 8th of April, 2024. We will leave at 10:20AM and return back to school by 12:30PM.

Our music programme offers multiple opportunities for all students to be involved and grow their musical talents and abilities. Every class from years 2 to 6 has a weekly lesson with our specialist music teacher, Ms Hsu.

In addition to the regular music classes students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of musical groups, including choir, percussion orchestras and string orchestra.
